Sunny Chan was graduated in Beijing Dance Academy in China in 1990 and also was the 3rd runner-up of teen folk-dance in the Second Tao Li Cup contest which was the top class of National Chinese contest. Moreover, he was selected as one out of ten elites in the Third Tao Li Cup contest. In the meantime, Sunny was invited by the CCTV and Beijing TV for guest performances and choreographies in many variety shows.

Later on, Sunny was honorably chosen by the Hong Kong Television Broadcast Limited via the national competition as outstanding dancer in 1993. Meanwhile, he attended various famous singer concerts for dancing performances.

Definitely, Sunny has always been invited by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as Guest Teacher for teaching Jazz Dance. In addition, he was completely responsible for choreographing for many renowned singers and entitled as Artiste Director.
